The black-tailed cisticola (Cisticola melanurus) is a species of bird in the Cisticolidae family found in Angola and Democratic Republic of the Congo. Its natural habitat is dry savanna and canopy of smaller trees and forages in pairs for insects. It is threatened by habitat loss but details about this are unknown.
