Sonxay Simoulay (born 5 May 1993) is a Laotian professional footballer who plays for SHB Champasak. He plays as a defender.
Youth career
Sonxay made his professional footballing debut on 1 June 2014. However, it turned out to be sour when the Laotian defender deflected an own goal for Loyola Meralco Sparks in the 2014 Singapore Cup. He played the full 90 minutes in that game. SHB Champasak was eventually defeated 7–1, exiting the Singapore Cup in the preliminary round.[1]
