The southern chestnut-tailed antbird (Myrmeciza hemimelaena), is a species of bird in the family Thamnophilidae. It is found in the Amazon Rainforest in far southern Colombia, eastern Ecuador, eastern Peru, northern Bolivia, and western and central Brazil.
