Kingsbridge Private Hospital Sligo, formerly known as St. Joseph's Hospital, is a private hospital in Garden Hill, Sligo, Ireland offering healthcare to privately insured patients.[1]
History
Founded in the 1950s, it was part of the Mount Carmel Medical Group, which included Aut Even Hospital in Kilkenny and Mount Carmel Hospital, Dublin.[2] In June 2015, it was acquired by the Belfast-based healthcare business, 3fivetwo Group which runs Kingsbridge Private Hospital[3]
Services
Specialities provided include general surgery, urology, otolaryngology (ENT), orthopaedics, rheumatology, ophthalmology, dermatology, vascular surgery, geriatrics, gynaecology, paediatrics, oncology, cardiology, general medicine, and neurology. It has 19 beds and about 60 staff.[4]
In 2009, the hospital received Joint Commission International accreditation.[5]
