St. Xavier's School, Behror, is a Christian minority school under the management of Jesuits of Delhi Province of the Society of Jesus.[3]
History
Opened in 1991, the school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for the All India Secondary School Examination (Class X) and All India Senior School Certificate Examination (Class XII).
Facilities
Facilities include: separate computer labs for juniors and seniors; labs for physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, language, hardware; a library containing 10,200 books and 53 periodicals, magazines, or dailies. There is also an auditorium and a sports complex.[4]
Activities
The boys won the 2015 St. Xavier´s Cup Basketball Championship; the girls team was second runner ups in their division.[5]
The Student Council has a Head Boy and Head Girl, a Captain and Vice Captain for each of the four houses into which students are divided, and several prefects for each class from seven through eleven.
Clubs include: Information & Communication Technology (ICT), Literary Club, Ramanujan Mathematics Club, Homi Bhabha Science Club, Eco Club, and Health & Wellness Club.[6] For alumni there is Behror Old Xaverian's Association.
