Sir Stephen Miles Tomlinson PC (b. 29 March 1952)[1] is a member of the Court of Appeal of England and Wales.
Career
Tomlinson graduated from Worcester College, Oxford. He was called to the Bar in 1974 (Inner Temple) and became a Queen's Counsel in 1988. He was appointed a Recorder in 1995 and a Deputy High Court judge in 1996. In 2000, he was appointed to the High Court of Justice, receiving the customary knighthood, and was assigned to the Queen's Bench Division. On 9 July 2010, Tomlinson became a Lord Justice of Appeal,[2] and received the customary appointment to the Privy Council in 2011.
