Subiaco AFC is a soccer club based in the city of Subiaco, Western Australia. They play their games at Rosalie Park and Pat Goodridge Oval.[1] They are considered one of the biggest footballing teams in the state by numbers with 60 junior teams and 15 senior teams participating in Football West competitions.
History
The club was formed in 2009 after a merger between Subiaco City and Subiaco United. Subiaco City had been founded in 1909 and Subiaco United in 1984. The club has wears maroon, white and gold, the traditional colours of Subiaco and those of A.S. Roma, the Serie A team closest to the Italian city of Subiaco.[2][3][4]
Competition
The men's first team currently participates in the top tier of Western Australian soccer in the National Premier Leagues Western Australia competition.[5] The women's first team currently participates in the Football West Smarter than Smoking Women's League Premier Division,[6] the highest ranked amateur women's football competition in the state. The junior teams often participate in the highest ranked junior competitions in the state, though this is dependent on individual years

State League Division Two club Subiaco were granted entry and have committed to playing home games at the WA Athletics Stadium, which opened in 2009.
