Sucular is a village in Tarsus district of Mersin Province, Turkey. At 36°58′N 34°49′E / 36.967°N 34.817°E it is situated in Çukurova (Cilicia of the antiquity) . Berdan Dam reservoir is to the east and the Turkish state highway is to the south of the village.The distance to Tarsus is 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) and to Mersin is 35 kilometres (22 mi).[1] The population of the village was 273 [2] as of 2012. The major crop of the village is grape.
