Suicide Attack Database
The Suicide Attack Database (SAD or CPOST-SAD) is a database maintained by the Chicago Project on Security and Terrorism at the University of Chicago.[1][2][3] The database was made available online in May 2014 and includes all known suicide attacks from 1982 to 2013.[4]

Research referencing the database
The Suicide Attack Database has been referenced in academic papers in the Journal of Conflict Resolution[5] and Middle East Policy.[6] It has also been used in doctoral theses on suicide terrorism.[7]
Inclusion in research guides and library guides
The Suicide Attack Database is mentioned as a resource by the Global Terrorism Research Project[3] as well as by the University of Southern California library guide.[8]
