Sukth is a village and a former municipality in the Durrës County, western Albania. At the 2015 local government reform it became a subdivision of the municipality Durrës.[1] The population at the 2011 census was 15,966.[2]
The village is divided by the Erzen river is into two districts, namely in Sukth i Ri and Sukth i vjeter. Sukth is located about three kilometers north of the historic market town of Shijak. The Adriatic Sea is only seven kilometers away.
Sukth municipality consisted of Sukth, Hamallaj, Kulla, Perlat, Vadardha and Rrushkull villages. The last mayor was Sherif Fortuzi.
