The Sun Devils Drum and Bugle Corps was an all-age drum and bugle corps based in Orlando, Florida. While under the direction of John "JJ" Johnson, the Sun Devils received four 1st place DCA South Class A titles, and made two appearances as a DCA Class A Finalist at DCA World Championships.
About
Sun Devils, Inc. was a 501(c)3 registered organization based in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, dedicated to music and marching education. Sun Devils, Inc. grew from its predecessor, Heat Wave of Orlando, Inc., and had two competitive units:
- The Sun Devils Drum & Bugle Corps competed nationally in DCA (currently inactive).
- Impact of Orlando Drum & Bugle Corps is a "mini Corps" and has competed in DCA's mini Corps competitions. (Impact of Orlando is sponsored by the Bahia Shrine, the Orlando chapter of Shriners International.
