Sunshine Canyon Landfill

Sunshine Canyon landfill was started in 1958 and serves the Los Angeles County. It receives waste one-third of the daily waste about 8,300 tons per day from all of LA, 2.3 million tons annually. It is located North of the City of Los Angeles in Sylmar, CA. [1]
