Susan Kelechi Watson

Susan Kelechi Watson is an actress who is recognized for her work on the television show Louie.[1] She currently stars in the 2016 NBC television dramedy series This is Us as Beth Pearson.

Biography

Watson is of Jamaican heritage, with both her parents being born in the island nation.[2] Watson is a graduate of the School of Fine Arts at Howard University.[3] She is a graduate of Uniondale High School in Uniondale, Long Island, New York. (Class of 1994).

Career

Watson had a recurring role on the television show Louie from 2012 through 2014. She has also had recurring roles on NCIS, The Following, and The Blacklist.[4] She also appeared in a play at the American Airlines Theatre in New York City by playwright Richard Greenberg entitled A Naked Girl on Appian Way. She currently stars in the 2016 NBC television dramedy series This is Us as Beth Pearson.
