Swanley is a small settlement at SJ618523 in the unitary authority of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. It is divided between two civil parishes, Baddiley and Burland. Nearby settlements include Acton, Burland, Ravensmoor and Stoneley Green.

Swanley is located immediately south of a T-junction between Swanley Lane and Springe Lane, and to the east of the Llangollen branch of the Shropshire Union Canal. The grade-II-listed Swanley Bridge, which dates from around 1793,[1] crosses the canal near the T-junction. Just north of the bridge lies Swanley Lock No. 2; the grade-II-listed lock dates from 1805 and is in blue-and-red brick with stone copings.[2]
