Syed Mohammad Abul Faiz (known as SMA Faiz) is a Bangladeshi academic. He was the 26th Vice-Chancellor of the University of Dhaka serving from September 2002 until January 2009. He is a former Chairman of the Public Service Commission of Bangladesh (PSC).[1]
Education
Faiz obtained bachelor's and master's of Science from the Department of Soil, Water, and Environment from University of Dhaka. He earned his Ph.D. from University of Aberdeen.[1]
Teaching career
Faiz is a Professor of the Department of Soil, Water, and Environment at the University of Dhaka.
