Syed Moiz Balkhi (Hindi-Urdu: سید معز بلخی (Nastaleeq), सैयद मोइज़ बलख़ी (Devanagari)) is a Pakistani American entrepreneur known for his social media work with WPBeginner, a WordPress resource.[1][2][3] Balkhi also serves as a writer for The Huffington Post and Entrepreneur (magazine), where he has authored several articles.[4][5]

WPBeginner

Syed Balkhi is the founder of WPBeginner, a WordPress reference organization.[6] Balkhi, according to The Next Web, founded the resource in July 2009 with the goal of "provide quality tips, tricks, hacks, and other resources for the WordPress community."[7][8] WordPress has featured Syed Balkhi's instructional videos for beginners to familiarize themselves with the platform.[9]

Additional projects

Balkhi is also the creator of List25, an entertainment website,[10][11] which the Daily Mail has featured in Children's Funniest Christmas Wish Lists.[12] In addition, Balkhi serves as the president of Awesome Motive, Inc., a web consulting firm that also evaluates social media and consumer services like Facebook and Amazon.[13][14] Moreover, Balkhi has also designed OptinMonster, which allows users to create and release opt-in forms.[15][16] Conferences, such as those hosted by Affiliate Summit and Alabama Power, among others, have featured Balkhi as a keynote speaker.[17][18]
