TPS Pakistan is a Pakistan-based technology firm established in 1996 by two entrepreneurs Mohammed Sohail and Mobushir Rahim. TPS is credited with the establishment of the ebanking infrastructure in Pakistan and is powering 80% of the banks in Pakistan and the largest inter bank shared switch - 1LINK.[1]
Established in 1996, TPS currently employs around 300 employees in its Karachi headquarters. TPS has a sister concern in Middle East by the name of TPS Middle East FZ LLC which looks after the area of Middle East and North Africa (MENA). Whereas TPS Pakistan looks after the area of Europe, Africa (except North Africa) and South Asia.
TPS is currently present in more than 70 countries through its resellers and has 135 customers in 35 of those countries. TPS solutions are packaged with some customizations for each customer and are focused on the electronic banking area only. The solutions are for ATM, POS, Inter Bank and Multi Bank Switching & Controllers, Internet Banking, Inward & Outward Remittance Systems, Reconciliation and Settlement and a variety of other related solutions.

After the success of 1LINK, TPS was selected to implement an Inter Bank Shared Switch in Bangladesh (OMNIBUS). The OMNIBUS Inter Bank Shared Switch has currently 6 banks connected for reciprocation of ATM related services.
Recently TPS IRIS Multi Institution Financial Middleware was selected by Group BPCE[4] for its operations in Africa starting from Cameroon and Republic of Congo.
