Tagelus subteres, common name lesser tagelus, is a species of saltwater clams, marine bivalve mollusks belonging to the family Pharidae. [1]

Description

Shells of Tagelus subteres can reach a length of 43 millimetres (1.7 in).[2][3] These small and compact shells shows violet rays and a dark periostracum. [4]

Distribution

This species can be found in the East Pacific. [5]
