Tapitsfly (foaled February 25, 2007 in Kentucky) is an American Thoroughbred racehorse) daughter of Tapit, by A.P. Indy's son Pulpit. She is out of the mare Flying Marlin, by Marlin.[1]
Her most important victory came in the 2009 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf, when she finished in 1:34.25 over firm turf.[2]
On June 9, 2012 (the same day as the Belmont Stakes, she took the Grade I Just A Game Stakes from the favorite (Winter Memories), wiring the field and coming very close to equaling the course record.[3]
She sold for $1,850,000 to Katsumi Yoshida along with Zazu for $2,100,000 to stand in the broodmare band in Japan.
Dale Romans trains the filly, who now has seven wins from 22 starts.
