Tarumanagara University is a university in Jakarta, Indonesia and one of the oldest private universities in the country. The university has four campuses in Jakarta. Campus I (main campus) and Campus II are located in the metropolitan area of West-Jakarta, Campus III is in South-Jakarta. A future campus IV site is in Karawaci (a satellite town 30 kilometers from West-Jakarta).

The elements of the university symbol are as follows:
- A furnace with smoldering fire symbolizes the education spirit in Tarumanagara University, whereas students are shaped to overcome all the challenges in the changing of time.
- The flame that rises to the top symbolizes the spirit to achieve high idealism, whereas the lateral flame symbolizes the harmony and balance, as well as attachment to the aspired goal.
- A crown at the top symbolizes scholarship and nobleness.
- A pentagonal-shaped perimeter symbolizes that all activities undertaken in Tarumanagara University are based on Pancasila framework.
