Tasbapauni is a seacoast hamlet in Nicaragua, 72 kilometres (45 mi) north of Bluefields.[1] The main ethnic groups are Creole and Miskito.[1]
Local residents have made fortunes reselling cocaine bundles which wash ashore after going overboard from Colombian drug runner speedboats. They have nicknamed the bundles "white lobster."[2]
Tasbapauni is a rich community in natural resources: lumber, lobster, turtle etc.
