Ted Manson (October 23, 1926 – June 1, 2008) was an American film actor with a career that spanned over 30 years.
Born in Columbus, Ohio, Manson graduated from West High School. He attended both Ohio State University and John Carroll University. In the 1950s he started acting with the Players Club and the Ohio State University Players. After a stint in real estate, he returned to acting in 1979 appearing on the television shows In the Heat of the Night and Matlock.[1] He went on to appear in a number of Hollywood films, including Elizabethtown and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
He died from complications of lung cancer on June 1, 2008.
