Tereza Srbová (born 23 June 1983 in Prague) is an actress best known for her role in David Cronenberg's Eastern Promises and HBO/Cinemax series Strike Back.
Srbová holds a master's degree in culture anthropology from Faculty of Philosophy, Charles University.
While undertaking her studies, she was approached by Elite Model Management Paris and appeared in campaigns such as Christian Dior, Torrente (Haute Couture) perfume, Mauboussin perfume, Clarins, and Martini alongside Jude Law. She has been photographed for magazines L'Officiel, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, Vogue, The Face, Surface (magazine), FHM, and Madame Figaro, among others.
After receiving her master's degree Srbová has decided to follow her passion for performing and singing (when she was a child she sang in the famous Czech choir Bambini di Praga). She retired from modelling and enrolled in drama classes at RADA in London.
Her first audition has won her the role of Kirilenko in David Cronenberg's Eastern Promises (2007) starring Viggo Mortensen and Vincent Cassel. Soon after she has appeared in films St. Trinian's (alongside Russell Brand), Inkheart (starring Brendan Fraser and Paul Bettany) and Eichmann (starring Thomas Kretschmann).
In 2010, Srbová played the lead role of Silka in the Lionsgate horror Siren, with Eoin Macken and Anna Skelern. In this film, Srbová performed the song Elephants by Warpaint (band).
In 2013, Srbová played a re-occurring role of an agent Major Nina Pirogova in Cinemax/HBO series Strike Back: Shadow Warfare starring Philip Winchester and Sullivan Stapleton. In 2015 she reprised her role in Strike Back: Legacy.
She speaks Czech, English, French and German.
