Terrance Smith (born May 3, 1993) is an American football linebacker for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Early years
Smith attended Southwest Dekalb High School in Decatur, Georgia. He enrolled at Florida State University in January of 2011 to play college football.
College career
As a freshman at Florida State in 2011, Smith earned a medical redshirt after only playing the first two games of the season. In 2012, his redshirt freshman season, he was mainly used as a reserved linebacker and as a special teams ace. In 2013, Smith started ten games, including the 2014 BCS National Championship Game and appeared in all fourteen games. In 2014, Smith finished third on the team with 87 tackles, despite missing two games. After a successful final season in 2015, Smith would finish his Seminole career with 222 tackles in 50 games. He played in the 2016 East-West Shrine Game as a member of the East All-Stars.
