Thansing is a village development committee in Nuwakot District in the Bagmati Zone of central Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 5951 people living in 1020 individual households.[1]

- Thansing V.D.C contains a government affiliated school "shree Mahindra Higher secondary school" It is situated in the middle of village, giving the higher education to the locals.

- Mahadav Temple :a temple of Hindu holy god lord shiva.
