The Current Sea

The Current Sea is a creative agency based in Los Angeles. With co-creative-directors, Brian Griffith and Sarah Zucker, the duo is best known for creating animated gifs.[1] They have expressed an aim to “explore the confluence of the analog and the digital.”[2] The Current Sea also runs a monthly showcase of experimental gif art in Echo Park, Los Angeles, called Prism Pipe.

Members

Sarah Zucker is a Los Angeles-based animator and director. She became a Jeopardy! Champion on September 27, 2013.[1]

Brian Griffith is a former bass player of the band, Dylan Trees.
