Hussein Who Said No or He Who Said No and Resurrection (Persian: روز رستاخیز or Persian: رستاخیز translit Rooze Rastakhiz or Ruz-e Rastakhiz or Rastakhiz) is a historical religious Iranian film directed by Ahmad Reza Darvish. The story narrates Battle of Karbala on Day of Ashura and tells the uprising of Hussein ibn Ali[6] in 680 CE against Yazid ibn Muawiyah ibn Abu Sufyan.

Production

Darvish big-budget movie has been financed by some Iranian and foreign film companies as the film’s post-production stage was completed at a British studio. Some scenes of the project have been created by the usage of a 3D computer-generated imagery (CGI) technique. Many prominent and renowned international cineastes also contributed to this Iranian blockbuster. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire famous actor at the movies. British-Indian film editor Tariq Anwar was in charge of editing the film. He was nominated for in Academy Award in 2011 for his work in The King's Speech.[7]
