The Estate (Singer novel)

The Estate is a novel by Isaac Bashevis Singer. The story continues the narratives of The Manor in the historical story of late 19th Century Polish Jews.

Newsday wrote "What he has achieved [in The Estate] is a sense of impetuousness, the fury, the bursting energy in the hearts of these Jews. . . . Tragedy is followed by new sorrows; joy by new joys."
