The Heiress at Coffee Dan's is a 1916 silent comedy-drama[4] film starring Bessie Love, directed by Edward Dillon.
Plot
Waffles (Love) is a Swedish immigrant who is working as a waitress in Coffee Dan's, a diner. A band of thieves gives her the impression that she is an heiress, and she briefly enjoys a time in a mansion. When the real heiress appears, Waffles contacts the police, receives a reward, and buys the diner.[3][5][6]

Reception
Reviewer George Graves liked the film, but would have preferred it as a straight comedy. He called the direction "adequate", but praised the "always pleasing" Bessie Love.[4]
