The Timothy Plan
The Timothy Plan is a mutual fund company that shuns investing in firms that engage in policies contrary to its interpretation of The Bible. It screens its investments to avoid companies that support abortion, the LGBT community, pornography, "anti-family" entertainment, "anti-family" policies, alcohol, tobacco, gambling and supporting terrorist nations as defined by the US Government. Among the better-known companies that don't meet the plan's guidelines are General Electric, The Coca-Cola Company, Microsoft, Starbucks, Time Warner and Walt Disney Company. The fund is categorized as "moral investing". Its ultimate goal is to provide an alternative investment that allows Christian and conservative investors to align their investment portfolio with their beliefs.
