Plot

The story of The Town with No Name involves "The Man With No Name", who gets off a train at the station in the Town With No Name, but is immediately attacked by a gunman. Once the gunman is killed, it is learned that the man the player just killed was Evil Eb's little brother and that Evil Eb will gather up his posse and kill the player. The player then travels throughout the town in order to find and dispatch the posse, while playing an assortment of minigames along the way. Once Evil Eb's posse is disposed of, the player faces off against Evil Eb in a final showdown. Once the player has defeated Evil Eb, Eb asks the player to kill him in a case of mistaken identity. However the player does not, and they wind up friends in the end over a bottle of whiskey. There is also another three ways of ending the game. The player can exit the town on horseback or wait for a train and murder a child because he runs after him shouting "Shane!", the player can be killed any number of ways throughout the game becoming the Ghost with No Name, or the player can wait eight days, and leave the town.

Gameplay

Gameplay is consisted as a standard point and click interface, with multiple options presented onscreen with a short animated scene following what decision the player has made. There is also another mode of the game, which is a light gun game played with either the Amiga CD32's gamepad, or mouse.
