The Wall is an upcoming American television game show to be aired on NBC, scheduled to premiere on 3 January 2017 in the United States.[1] The show will be hosted by Chris Hardwick of late night panel show @midnight. He will also be an executive producer on the show along with LeBron James, Maverick Carter and Andrew Glassman.[2]
Premise
The Wall's format has two contestants working together answering trivia questions, if the contestant answers right, a green ball is released from the top of a grid-like wall, bouncing randomly towards the bottom. At the bottom of the table each slot in the grid has a value (slots range from $100 or below to $3,000,000) which is then added to the total prizemoney when a green ball lands in it. But if the contestant gets the question wrong, a red ball is released instead and the value of the slot is subtracted from the total. At some stage in the game one of the players is sent into an 'isolation room' and the two contestants then play the rest of the game without being able to communicate with each other. Up to 12 million dollars is on offer each night.[3][1]
