Third Rock Ventures

Third Rock Ventures is a venture capital firm based in Boston, founded in 2006, which invests in biotechnology startups.[1] Rather than passively waiting for investment opportunities, Third Rock creates companies itself by attracting the world’s leading experts to sign on.[2]
