Tim Quarterman (born October 27, 1994) is an American professional basketball player for the Portland Trail Blazers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for Louisiana State University (LSU).
College career
A 6 ft 6 in (1.98 m) guard from Savannah, Georgia, Quarterman came to LSU in 2013. He was a starter for the Tigers as a sophomore and junior and averaged 8.4 points (39.7% FG, 31.0% 3PT, 66.0% FT), 3.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.04 steals in 98 games (three seasons).[1]
As a junior, Quarterman averaged 11.2 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 0.97 steals in 33 games[1] and following the season, he declared for the 2016 NBA draft.[2]
Professional career
Portland Trail Blazers (2016–present)
After going undrafted in the 2016 NBA draft, Quarterman joined the Charlotte Hornets for the 2016 NBA Summer League. On July 25, 2016, he signed with the Portland Trail Blazers.[1] Quarterman made his official NBA debut on November 9, 2016 in a blowout loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.
