Tirumayanam Brahmapureeswarar Temple
Tirumayanam Brahmapureeswarar Temple[1]( திருமயானம் பிரம்மபுரீஸ்வரர் கோயில்[2]])is a Hindu temple located at Tirumayanam in Nagapattinam district of Tamil Nadu, India.[3] The presiding deity is Shiva. He is called as Brahmmapureeswarar. His consort is known as Malarkuzhal Minnammai. [4]
Significance
It is one of the shrines of the 275 Paadal Petra Sthalams - Shiva Sthalams glorified in the early medieval Tevaram poems by Tamil Saivite Nayanars Tirugnanasambandar, Tirunavukkarasar and Sundarar.[4]
