Tiruvirkudi Veerataneswarar Temple
Tiruvirkudi Veerataneswarar Temple[1] (Tamil: திருவிற்குடி வீரட்டானேசுவரர் கோயில்)[2] is a Hindu temple located at Tiruvirkudi in Nagapattinam district, Tamil Nadu, India.[3] The presiding deity is Shiva. He is called as Veerataneswarar. His consort is known as Elavarkuzhali.[4]
Significance
It is one of the shrines of the 275 Paadal Petra Sthalams - Shiva Sthalams glorified in the early medieval Tevaram poems by Tamil Saivite Nayanar Tirugnanasambandar.[4]

Tirugnanasambandar describes the feature of the deity as:[5]
