Tom Cox (highwayman)
Tom Cox (died 3 June 1691), known as "The Handsome Highwayman" was hanged at Tyburn.
Early life
Tom Cox was born at Blandford, Dorsetshire, the youngest son of a gentleman.[1]
Death and legacy
Cox was hanged at Tyburn on 3 June 1691.[2] He featured in the novel Rookwood by W. Harrison Ainsworth.[3]
