Trash Fire is a 2016 American horror-comedy drama film written and directed by Richard Bates Jr.. The film stars Adrian Grenier, Angela Trimbur, Fionnula Flanagan, AnnaLynne McCord, Matthew Gray Gubler and Sally Kirkland. The film had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on January 23, 2016. The film was released in a limited release and through video on demand on November 3, 2016, by Vertical Entertainment and Orion Pictures.

Plot

Owen is a clinically depressed bulimic who has been in a tense relationship with Isabel for three years. When Isabel reveals she is pregnant, the two travel to stay with Owen's horrible grandmother and his younger sister Pearl, who was disfigured in the house fire that also killed Owen's parents. As the stay goes on, family secrets are revealed, and the two are drawn into a web of lies, deceit, and murder.
