Trebas Institute is a private, bilingual, post-secondary college specializing in the recording arts with campuses in Montreal, and Toronto.[1]

History

Trebas Institute was founded in 1979, by David P. Leonard, President.

Faculty

The selection of faculty members is based primarily on their practical experience in a given field, and have included author and television host-producer John H. Foote; President of the Canadian Music Publishers Association, Jodie Ferneyhough; filmmaker, B. P. Paquette; and sound engineer, Bob Heil.

Alumni

Notable alumni include Grammy Award-winning music producer, Mike Piersante; music producer, Jeremy Harding (from Sean Paul's 2009 album, Imperial Blaze); and Megadeth singer and guitarist, Dave Mustaine.[2] Dominique de Witte, singer, songwriter and producer from France.[3][4]

Programs

A variety of programs in the recording arts are offered in French and English, including DJ arts technology, film and television production, music business administration, sound design, and studio recording live sound.
