Tristan Wade is an American professional poker player from Boynton Beach, Florida. He won his first World Series of Poker bracelet at the 2011 World Series of Poker Europe.[1] In addition to a bracelet, 2011 saw Wade earn his first 3 World Series of Poker (WSOP) final tables, with two at the summer 2011 World Series of Poker before his fall bracelet in Europe.[2] Wade is also an instructor at Deepstacks University.[3] Wade is an alumnus of University of Central Florida where he earned a bachelor of science degree in psychology.[2] WSOP.com lists him as a resident of Boynton Beach, Florida,[2] while Hendon mob claims he is from Orlando, Florida.[1] Wade made his first trip to Europe at the age of 26 in 2011 because of Black Friday, which has limited his play in the United States.[4]
Career
His first professional live game in the money finish was a 25th-place finish in the 2,998-person $1,500 June 2 – 4, 2007 World Series of Poker No-Limit Hold'em Event 3 for a prize of $23,735.[1][2][5]
His biggest win at PokerStars was the February 10, 2009 1156-person $150 + $12 Nightly Hundred Grand No-limit Hold'em tournament for a prize of $31,732.[6][7] His largest win at Full Tilt Poker was the March 8, 2008 341-person $300 + $22 $90,000 Guarantee No-limit Hold'em tournament for a prize of $24,347.[7][8] His largest online prizes have been $47,500 for 3rd in the February 28, 2010 998-person $500 + $30 PokerStars Sunday 500 No-limit Hold'em event and $46,115 for 3rd in the July 27, 2009 401-person $1,000 + $60 Full Tilt Poker $1K Monday event.[7][9][10]

His first WSOP final table was a 7th-place finish in the 3,157-person $1,500 June 11 – 13, 2011 World Series of Poker No-Limit Hold'em Event 18 for a prize of $94,700.[1][2][11] His first WSOP bracelet was in the 258-player €3,200 October 11 – 13, 2011 No-Limit Shootout Event 4 at the 2011 WSOP Europe for a prize of €182,048.[12]
