Tyler Tumminia

Tyler Adwen Tumminia is an American baseball executive.

Tumminia's father, John Tumminia, worked as a scout for the Chicago White Sox.[1] He named her after Ty Cobb.[2]

Tumminia graduated from Mount Saint Mary College.[3] She joined the Goldklang Group, which operates the Charleston RiverDogs, Fort Myers Miracle, Hudson Valley Renegades, St. Paul Saints, and Pittsfield Suns, in 2004.[4] She was promoted to senior vice president in February 2011.[1][2][5] In October 2011, she graduated from Major League Baseball's Scout Development Program.[6]

Tumminia married Ben Cherington on April 6, 2012, at Brooklyn Borough Hall.[7] The couple has two daughters: Adwen Hudson (born 2012)[8] and Harper Charles.[1]
