Ultra Mega Solar Power Projects
Ultra Mega Solar Power Projects are a series of solar power projects planned by Ministry of New and Renewable Energy of the Union Government of India.[1][2]
Each power project is planned with capacities of 500 MW or more.[3]
List of Proposed Projects
- 750 MW project in Banaskantha district of Gujarat state
- 1,500 MW project in Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh state
- 1,000 MW project in Mehboob Nagar of Telangana state
- 7,500 MW park in Leh and Kargil region of Jammu and Kashmir state
- 2500 MW project in Anantpur district of Andhra Pradesh state
- 600 MW project in Allahabad of Uttar Pradesh state
- 2,000 MW project in Bhandla of Punjab state
- 3,700 MW project in Jaisalmer of Rajasthan state.[4]
