Umberto Allori is an Italian artist born in Livorno, Italy, living and working in Livorno, Italy.
Biography
Umberto Allori Livornese painter began his artistic career with painting "en plein air" as Macchiaiola tradition. In 1959 he graduated from the Academy of Art and Design Leonetto Cappiello in Florence in the Livorno branch section. His painting seeks new ways of expression from Livorno tradition and its artistic capacity is influence from trips frequently performs in every corner of the globe. In 1953 he began his participation in the Rotonda Prize named after Mario Borgiotti of Ardenza with a win in 1958 in one of several sections of the award. In 1966 he founded with Piero Mochi, Mario Bonsignori, Roberto Saviozzi the "Attias" group that artistically tackled social, environmental complaints, employment and protection of rights. In 1967 the first historical collective with the "Attias" group at the Gai gallery in Florence just returned to its function after restoration by the flood and the inauguration of the mayor Giorgio La Pira; after twenty years of activity, the group concludes his story. Ended this experience, the artist continues his artistic and exhibition activities with important solo exhibition in Livorno in the 1997 and 2005 and group exhibitions in Florence and Livorno. In 2010 award at the painting career by La Pergola Arte di Firenze.
