Uttara Kosala

Uttara Kosala was one of the five main divisions of the kingdom of Rama in prehestoric Awadh. Uttara Kosala corresponds to the modern trans-Ghaghra districts including Bahraich, Gonda, Basti and Gorakhpur.[1]
