Vadodara Bus Station

The Vadodara bus station is the central bus station serving the city of Vadodara in Gujarat, India.[1]

It was built under a public-private partnership between the Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) and realty firm Cube Construction. Built at a cost of ₹114 crore, the five-storey terminus is spread over 2.4 lakh square feet.[2]

Called the Ved Transcube Plaza, it has the Vadodara Central Bus Terminal as well as a commercial complex. The terminus handles over 800 buses and as many as 28,000 to 35,000 passengers daily.[2]

Inauguration

The Bus Terminal was Inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 15 2014[3]In all, the commercial complex expects to have 400 retail shops of an average 250 to 350 square feet each, a flea market, a food court with 22 outlets, a seven-screen multiplex run by PVR Cinemas and a 100-room budget hotel.
