Vagiz Nazirovich Khidiyatullin (Russian: Вагиз Назирович Хидиятуллин; Tatar: Вагыйзь Назир улы Һидиятуллин) (born 3 March 1959 in Gubakha, Perm Oblast, Russian SFSR) is a former footballer who played as central defender.
He earned 58 caps and scored 6 goals for the USSR national football team,[1] and played for them in the 1980 Summer Olympics, 1988 UEFA European Championship and the 1990 FIFA World Cup (also included in the 1982 FIFA World Cup squad, but did not play). He was the founder and President of Russian Professional Players Trade Union, and is of Tatar origin.
