Vaishali Express, is a daily superfast train service, connecting Barauni in East Central India to New Delhi. It also has the distinction of being the fastest non-Shatabdi, non-Rajdhani in India after Bhopal Express being the first train to be certified for quality at the ISO 9000 level. It covers the 1185 kilometres between Barauni Junction and New Delhi in twenty one hours. It is the most punctual train in North India and has maximum number of coaches(24 Coaches). Vaishali Express awarded by ISO 9000 on 1 May 2012. It is one of the high priority trains in North India.
Journey
The down train leaves New Delhi railway station at 19:50 hrs and reaches Barauni Junction at 17:15 hrs. Up train leaves Barauni Junction at 09:30 hrs and reaches New Delhi at 06:30 hrs.
The train is hauled by a WAP4 from Kanpur shed end to end
