Virender Sharma (born 11 September 1971) is an Indian former first-class cricketer.[1] He is now an umpire and stood in the Twenty20 tour match between India A vs South Africans on 29 September 2015.[2]
In November 2016 during the Ranji Trophy match between Mumbai and Uttar Pradesh, Sharma was forced to stand at both ends on day 2, after the other umpire Sam Nogajski was taken ill with food poisoning.[3]
