Vitaliy Yuriyovych Khomutynnik (Ukrainian: Віта́лій Ю́рійович Хомути́ннік, born 4 August 1976)[1] is a Ukrainian politician. Representing the Party of Regions, he was elected to the Verkhovna Rada in 2002, 2006, 2007, and 2012. After leaving the Party of Regions in February 2014,[2] he joined Economic Development. He was elected to the 8th Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada in the 2014 Ukrainian parliamentary election. He was the leader of his parliamentary group.[1] On 5 June 2015 this non-party faction in parliament merged with the party Revival.[3] Since then he is co-chairman of the Revival faction.[4]
According to the Ukrayinska Pravda research, Khomutynnik became the wealthiest parliamentarian of the 8th convocation.[5] In April 2016 the magazine Focus estimated his wealth at $88 million.[4] Khomutynnik is a defendant in anti-corruption investigations.[6]
