Vladimir Parvanov Kuzov (Bulgarian: Владимир Първанов Кузов) is a Bulgarian politician. He was a MP in the 40th National Assembly.
In early 2009, several months before the end of the mandate of the National Assembly, Kouzov gets suspended sentence for child molesters and his deputy powers are taken away.
Political activity Vladimir Kuzov entered parliament on July 11, 2005 on the ticket of the National Union Attack, but at the beginning of February 2006 was expelled from the parliamentary group of the coalition after saying that he faces police investigation for homosexual acts with minors. According to party "Ataka" Kouzov proposed for MP from National Movement for the Salvation of the Fatherland and closest to her political circle "New Dawn". There are introduced Bill 26 as an MP.
Homosexual acts with minors In January 2006 the prosecutor's office published a list of politicians against whom has initiated inquest. Among them is Kouzov. On April 7, 2006, Chief Prosecutor Boris Velchev requested removal of the immunity of seven MPs, including Kouzov. The aim is to institute pre-trial proceedings. Kouzov alone allows him to be removed immunity. In May 2007 he was sentenced in the first instance by the Sofia City Court to three years in prison for three sexual acts with a minor. According Kouzov he is innocent and his sentence is due to the expected report of the European Commission before that it will look better if a convicted lawmaker.
On February 18, 2009 Kouzov gets suspended sentence in case of homosexual contact with a minor. On February 26, 2009 National Assembly terminate its mandate as a lawmaker. His seat in parliament loan financier Nadia Ivanova.
In Bulgarian presidential election, 2016 he is an independent presidential candidate supported by an initiative committee. His registration was denied however since he failed to submit a petition with at least 2500 valid signatures.[1]
